Can spreader grafts actually help in a situation where the issue is limited space for the turbinates?

Hello, I’d like to get some information about spreader grafts. After my first rhinoplasty, I ended up with breathing problems because too much cartilage was removed. My turbinates are normal in size, but they swell during the natural nasal cycle and block my new, narrower airway. All the doctors I’ve seen advised against turbinoplasty since my turbinates are already normal-sized. One doctor, however, suggested placing spreader grafts using rib cartilage. From what I’ve researched, spreader grafts are mainly used for internal nasal valve collapse, so I’m wondering: can spreader grafts actually help in a situation where the issue is limited space for the turbinates?
