Can I get 2ML of lip filler at once?

Daniele.  You most certainly can safely have two vials of lip filler, like Juvederm Ultra plus injected at the same setting, however you may consider staging it.  I routinely inject 2 syringes of filler for patients with very thin lips, however your photograph demonstrate that your lips are not extremely thin. To attain the most attractive and natural look, you may ask your injector to use one syringe first, followed by the second syringe one week later, if needed. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist in your region. Good luck.

It is safe to get more than 1 mL at a time. I typically do recommend getting the 1mL waiting a week or so and getting the second though. The volume can be used different ways. It is not often I give more than 1mL. It is possible they placed some of it too deep or in a layer that was not able to achieve the results you wanted.Hope this helps.Best of luck,DrC

While many lip filler injection patients may choose one mL of filler per treatment, getting 2mL at once is done routinely in patients and generally considered safe. An alternative that some patients choose is to start with one, then add more filler a couple of weeks afterward as appropriate. This will depend on your final results and is best answered in-person. I recommend starting with one syringe to avoid overfilling. If after 2 weeks you would like fuller results, you can have another syringe. Hope this helps.

Some lips can not accommodate 2 mL in one session. The injector can tell. It will be harder if you have had filler in the last 3-4 months but if it’s been a year it is possible. If not possible, just wait a few weeks and then add more

It's fine to get 2ml of lip filler at one time.  Make sure you see an experienced injector because at that volume it needs to be more precisely injected to avoid looking unnatural.  

I inject so many patients with lips and try to only inject one syringe at a time, especially if it is your first time. While many patients may ultimately want more than one syringe in their lips if they want a very pouty look, it is always better to be conservative and start with one syringe.  You can always add more later. Your bottom lip is perfect.  Maybe a full syringe to your upper lip or for a permanent solution a sub nasal liplift

Depending on the filler used and how much volume you want in your lips, 2 ml can be injected. I would do one syringe first wait a week or two and see if you still want more and if it is appropriate you can have another 1 cc injected.You don’t have to have o2ml all at once.
