Can brushing your teeth with a regular tooth brush affect your results 6 months post Rhinoplasty?

I'm about 6 months post rhinoplasty surgery, and am wondering if brushing your teeth with a regular tooth brush could affect results? Immediately after surgery I made sure to be gentle, but am wondering if it could still have any affects if not careful?
