Mild tuberous breast correction- least invasive options? (Photos)

Hello, I have what I believe are (mild?) tuberous breasts. However, this only really becomes an issue when my nipples are not hard. In the top photos, my nipples ARE hard, and I am overall satisfied with the shape of my breasts. If you look at the bottom pictures, my nipples are NOT hard, and my breasts look completely different- my areolas are larger and my breasts take an unflattering shape. What is the solution to this? Can I fix this without breast implants? I would like them to look like the top pictures all the time. I have been told I have fiberous breasts

Thank you for your question and submitting your pictures. In the spectrum of tuberous breasts - if that's what is in fact occurring - you are correct in thinking yours are mild. Here are some thoughts to guide you

1) You need an in person evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon
2) Before that visit - consider what it is that you want "fixed" (if it's the overall breast shape - than typically an implant will be the answer, but perhaps something like alloclae could be useful)
3) gather a wish book of naked breast pictures in women with body types similar to yours of looks that you like. That will give the surgeon some insight into what you would like to see changed.

Your breasts are not tuberous but are slightly ptotic. Gravity has caused the breasts to descend inferiorly and laterally and you have some asymmetry. When your nipples are harder then the areola is contracting tightening the skin envelope. I recommend an eccentric mastopexy. A donut type incision is used, excess skin is removed with an attempt to move the nipple-areola complex higher and more medial.

Hi there, thank you so much for your question and thank you for sharing your photos. You are wondering if you have tuberous breasts. Based on the photos you provided, you do not have tuberous breasts. Tuberous breasts are defined as having herniation of breast tissue into the areola, causing the areola to become very enlarged. There is usually a very constricted breast, leading to tube shaped breast with very minimal inferior breast fold development. These are challenging issues to fix.
What you seem to be describing is your areola enlarging when the nipples are not erect. This is pretty normal, as nipple erection can lead to the areolar tissue shrinking and contracting. This can sometimes create the appearance of smaller nipples and perkier breasts. I would not recommend an areolar reduction in your situation. I hope that helps!
