This is the only thing I want. 1. if the implant will be removed from outside, (or inside) is there a risk of sagging skin ?
Answer: Chin implant removal Dear Patient, I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your chin augmentation and bichectomy surgeries. To answer your question, there is a risk of sagging skin after removing a chin implant, but it depends on several factors such as the size of the implant, how long it has been in place, and the elasticity of your skin. If the implant has been in place for a long time, your skin may have adapted to its presence, and removing it could leave a pocket of loose skin. Additionally, if the implant was large, it may have stretched your skin, which could result in sagging after it is removed. However, if the implant was small and has only been in place for a short time, there is less of a risk of sagging skin. In any case, your surgeon will assess your individual situation and discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure with you. It's also worth noting that removing a chin implant is generally a less invasive procedure than inserting one, as the implant can often be removed through the same incision used to place it. Your surgeon may recommend a revision procedure to help improve the appearance of your chin after the implant is removed. I would advise you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon in detail and ask any questions you may have before making a decision about removing the implant. They can provide you with a more personalized assessment of your situation and help you understand the potential risks and benefits. Best of luck !

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Chin implant removal: things you should know Thank you for your question and photos. I’m sorry that you’re unhappy with your chin implant results. Silicone implants are the easiest to remove, though various factors determine whether or not you may develop loose skin after removal. If you do experience skin sagging, RF microneedling can restore your skin’s elasticity by increasing your body’s natural collagen production. This treatment reduces lower face sagging while improving your skin’s quality and texture. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to review your surgical history, discuss your concerns with you, and determine the best course of action.

Answer: Chin implant removal The size of the implant, the date when it was placed, age of the patient, and skin excess can all affect the outcome when a chin implant is removed. In some cases, the chin does not return to its original shape and form. It can be removed from an inside or outside incision.
