I’m 28 year-old female 175 cm and 88 kg with a very wide set breast and I’m considering breast fat transfer as I don’t wanna use implants I’m being realistic as it’s depends on my anatomy but I’m hoping to reduce the sternal space and to fell the upper portion of my breasts Will it work with me? And I’m curious about the survival rate of the transferred fat *** They look asymmetrical in photos however there’s no obvious difference in reality

Answer: Breasts I would suggest first doing a lift to raise your breasts into a normal position. Fat transfer will not lift breasts. Once in the right place, then you can see if fat is needed for more volume.

Answer: What fat transfer can do Fat transfer can make your breast modestly larger. It will not change the shape of your best. That will survive based on where you have current tissue to support the graft. Weather is very little tissue very little graft will survive. If you want to build up the medial Aspect of your breast but the medial aspect of the breast has very little tissue now the non-expect a big increase in volume in that area from fat transfer. The fat will survive where there is sufficient host tissue to support the graft. This is how the fat survives not so much based on where it’s grafted. Plastic surgeons with sufficient experience understand this. I suggest having a few in person consultations with local board certifid Plastic surgeons who have extensive experience with fat transfer procedures. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
