Hello. I went in for a consultation and was given a 3D image. My surgeon told me that my breasts look wide apart because my hands were up and my breast gap should look fine after surgery. He said I have some fullness in the upper sternum. But, he told me if I was really worried about it he could do a subfascial position with mesh. What do you think? The first four pictures are me now. The 5th picture is with the 3D image of 235CC and the last picture is the 3D image with 285CC

Answer: Gap between breasts From the submitted photos your breasts do sit a bit wider on your chest wall. This will still be present after augmentation which can be seen in the 3D images. When the breast size is increased this space is sometimes more noticeable.

Answer: Straightforward (dual plane)-part sub muscular/part sub glandular would work just fine- no mesh needed After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon' s experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them.
