I've been reading to have microneedling done at least 6 weeks apart, but now I'm seeing physicians recommending 4 weeks apart. I was planning a schedule of eight weeks apart. Will the extra 2 weeks rest time affect the the results? Also, if I continue getting treatments every eight weeks after the initial set of five treatments are completed, will that continued frequency damage newly formed collagen?

In our office we have post procedure kits that we offer our patients. That includes a growth factor, post procedural facial cleanser, post procedural moisturizer and an SPF. This should be your protocol for at least a week, or until you feel that your skin has gone back to a normal state.
