Will lip injections widen my mouth and plump my lips? (photos)

Plastic Surgeon / Facial Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist who has experience in lip injections. During the consult you and the physician should be understanding of
the goals and realistic outcomes of your choices. Once an exam and opinion is

Thank you for your question and photos regarding the use of lip filler to widen and plump your lips. With the array of fillers available now, we have great options for shaping and plumping lips. If your lips are fuller, they can appear to be a bit wider. We often start with one syringe and add more after 2 weeks if the full result is not achieved. Bruising and swelling are potential short-term side effects. Experience is important with all fillers, especially lips, so we recommend that you see a Facial Plastic Surgeon who's staff is experienced with injectables. Good luck!
