When Is It Safe To See My Chiropractor?

I am 6 weeks post op. Is it safe to go back to the chiropractor. I am afraid that laying on my stomach and getting adjusted will rupture my implants. I have Sillicone cohesive gel under the muscle.

I tell my patients that it's best to wait about six weeks before they schedule a chiropractic appointment so as to avoid any discomfort while they are lying on their stomach. You'll want to let the chiropractor know that you recently got breast implants.

I would think that at 6 weeks you should be safe to lay down on your breast.  I would not recommend any forceful direct pressure over the implant are as they can deform if too great a force is applied.  You should discuss this with the chiropractor and inform them that you have implants.  I would agree that you would be allowed to have some manipulation at this stage.RegardsStephen Salerno
