Hi doctors.. I got my breast implants 9 mothns ago.when i lay on my back my imlants go up to my neck area but DO NOT fall to the side like all the women in here claim. Is it normal ??.....thank you
Answer: Breast implant movement
Breast implants will move in the pocket in which they are placed. If the pocket is large the movement is incresed, and if the space is up into the neck that is where the implant will go when pushed or gravity effects it.
The pocket may be the problem here and the solution may be revision of the implant pocket. Discuss the issue with your surgeon and there may be a solution

Answer: Implants shifting
Thank you for your question. Ideally, implants have a hand-in-glove fit, where the pocket that the implant sits in is the size of the implant itself. If the pocket is larger than the implant, the implant can shift around on the chest wall. This is more of a cosmetic concern than something that is dangerous. Surgeons call this "implant malposition" and the only fix is a revision surgery to sew the pocket size down close to the size of the implant. Whether this needs to be done really depends on how much the implant shifting around bothers you.
Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Answer: When I Lay on my Back Breast Implants Go Up?
Some movement of the breast implants upwards when patients lie down is quite normal. However, any “extreme” movement of breast implants is a sign of a breast implant displacement problem. In other words, the breast implant pockets may be too large for the breast implants. If this is the case, adjustment of the breast implant pockets may be necessary to prevent this problem. Ultimately, whether you choose to have revisionary surgery will depend on how much of a problem the breast implant displacement is for you.
I hope this, and the attached link, helps.

Answer: My implants move up toward my neck when I lay down
It's acceptable for implants will move around in the pocket a little. If you feel like the implant moves around too much, there could be a discrepancy between your pocket and implant size. Best to see your surgeon for an exam and go over your concerns and options if need be. ac

Answer: Pocket vs impant size
To me, your desciption suggests a discrepency between pocket size and implant size, in addition to poor implant adherence. Best to revisit your surgeon, or seek a second opinion.
