Wet feeling in my ear. Should I be concerned?

Hello, I had my otoplasty surgery the two days ago done under local anesthesia. The bandage they put on will be removed 5 days after the operation, but I am currently worried about what's going on under there. Is it normal for my ear to feel wet like there's water in my ear? When I slightly adjust the bandage there's this squelchy sticky weird noise, but no blood or liquid leaking. Should I be worried or is this normal? Thanks in advance!

Ask your surgeon to perform an otoscopic exam.  You may have fluid/blood in the ear canal which can be irrigated or you may have an effusion or fluid in the middle ear.

It is definitely possible that there is fluid or blood in your ears from the surgery.  It is best to check in with your physician to have her/him look under your dressing.  Congratulations on the surgery!

Congratulations on having undergone the otoplasty procedure. It is certainly possible that there is some fluid in the ear; best to let your plastic surgeon know about your concerns.  He/she will be in a much better position to advise you.  Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
