Originally the right side started out smaller than the left and my doctor overcompensated and did a 60 cc difference. Now it is bigger but I was wondering why the shapes look different. It seems like the right side is much more rounder and it’s not dropping like the left side. Would it be worth it to do a revision and get a smaller size on the left side? Also would a smaller implant help with the symmetry and make it drop more?
Answer: Revision A smaller implant should drop better and might be more symmetrical. However, you still have fairly good results now.

Answer: Implants I definitely see that one side is larger. I try to avoid using different size implants unless there is substantial size difference. It seems to be a game you just can't win. It may be worth waiting to see what happens over six months. The one implant may drop and even things out.

Answer: Different shaped breasts and asymmetry. Would it be worth it to do a revision? Hello @Intellectual472714 thank you for your question and showing your picture. Body parts do not all have the same size or shape. There are generally certain asymmetries between one breast and the other. For a proper assessment I suggest you consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and options. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD FACS

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Intellectual472714, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Breasts are not perfectly symmetrical Breasts are sisters, not twins. Your result can only be evaluated if you post the preop pictures along side the results. It may well be that yours is very good for the starting point. You should review all concerns with your surgeon.
