Congratulations on your new baby. It is fine to proceed with the rhinoplasty. I would forget the Brazilian butt lift. It's a total waste of your hard earned money. Better you should use that money for your baby's college fund.
Hello, Thank you for your question. It is difficult to say without a full assessment. I typically recommend patients wait a minimum of 6 months between surgeries. I'd recommend booking a follow-up appointment with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for their recommendation. All the best.
It's best to wait at least a few months after your pregnancy before undergoing a rhinoplasty procedure, to allow your body's physiology to return to normal. It's also important to separate the rhinoplasty and Brazilian but lift for several months, to ensure optimal healing as well as preventing anesthesia complications.
The period between surgeries depends on the your heslth and the type of surgery you are going to have. Some cosmetic surgeries can be performed within weeks of each other.
You will get a variety of answers: Do them together, wait 6 months, wait 3 months. There is no absolute correct answer. It depends on the patient's medical status, extent of the procedures, activities, and the surgeon's as well as patient's preference. You should discuss your concerns with your plasticsurgeon, who should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the AmericanSociety for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), that you trust and are comfortablewith. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. It isimportant to follow all of his or her instructions.Robert Singer, MD FACSLa Jolla, California
If you have a rhinoplasty in April you need to wait at least 6 months before doing a BBL. Why don't you find one surgeon who can do both at the same time? It will save you a lot of money in the long run as you are paying for one anesthesia charge and one operating room charge instead of two. Also, you have one recovery versus two.
I would wait at least 6 months after your rhinoplasty to have a your second surgery. The prone position is problematic for your new nose and you want to give your nose enough time to adequately heal without causing complications. Your rhinoplasty surgeon will be able to give you the best advice regarding timing.
Please check with both your surgeon. The medical answer is that you could technically have them done concurrently. The only issue is that the nose needs to be protected while you are prone.
I would recommend asking this question to your rhinoplasty surgeon. If you already have a date scheduled for surgery, they should be able to estimate the time to heal adequately before undergoing another surgery. My main concern would be that you will be prone (facing down) on the operating room table for the buttock augmentation and this can bang around the nose quite a bit. It will also cause more swelling when you are laying that way for any extended period of time. Personally, I would probably have you wait three months or so after the rhinoplasty to make sure the acute swelling has reduced. Best of luck
You should have both procedures performed at the same time; there is no reason to wait longer as you are not operating on your breasts and tummy.
Hi Badroof,I would consider you to be well informed patient and all request are very much justified and a good plastic surgeon should be able to fix it.May be you do not have a hump and this may be the reason for the PS to refuse surgery for you.I get plenty of such issue and routinely fix them...
The answer to this is that yes, it often does. It will depend of course on the individual's facial proportions, especially in profile. In these cases, it is often suggested that a small amount of tip rotation (upward) would help with aesthetics.
