The protruding of stretch marks normal? Indenting above SM normal? (Photo)

Question

I really hate the way my stomach looks right now. I've left messages for my dr, no avail. Are the stretch marks suppose to come that far out?? Also, above one group of the SM my skin seems to sag in-wards. And possibly tuning blue. Below the middle on the top of my pubic area is very hard, is any of this normal? How long until it goes down? Is my belly button suppose to be this black . I still constantly feel like something is crawling around inside of me! Please someone answer ALL my questions.

Hello,Swelling in the tissues is causing the thinner, stretch mark skin to bulge a bit right now and this is normal. Concerns about wound care, sensation, colour- all should be assessed in person by your Plastic Surgeon. I recommend that you contact them and ask to bee see.All the best

First it is not acceptable for your doctor to be nonresponsive, don't accept that.Regarding your questions, I can really only answer the stretch mark question for sure, the rest require that you go in to see your doctor, and I would call again now to be seen soon.What you don't like about the stretch marks is normal, assuming as I am that you are within a week or two of surgery.  This is due to swelling of the abdominal flap, and the fact that the stretch marks are weaker and hence, balloon out.  This will resolve in the weeks to come.The second image from the left is poorly exposed to be sure, but it looks a bit red to me and hence, I am concerned.  Call the doctor.All the best for a speedy and safe recovery.
