How long do you have to wear a chin strap compression after a very small chin lipo?

Hi, there is no exact answer. For me I have patients wear during most of the day and at night  for the first week and just at night for the second week.

I recommend you to use the bandage for at least one month to give more compression to the area, avoid swelling and inflammation and obtain the best results.

Thanks for your question. Usually by about 3-5 days, I will just have patients wear the chin support at night (or not at all if they really hate it). There is not great evidence that compression affects any long term outcome, but I do think it helps control swelling in the short term. Best wishes.

I usually ask patients to wear compression for 5-7 days, then at night for an additional 1-2 weeks.

 In our practice we ask patients who undergo chin liposuction were compression the first two days after the procedure. Each  individual office may have different parameters, so it's always best to check with your operative surgeon
