I have deep set eyes, I think. My eyelids are sort of hanging so when I wear eyeshadow it’s not all visible. Advice? (photos)

Hello and thanks for the question. Its difficult to fully assess the issues based one photograph; but you appear to have a youthful look to your eyelids and brows. I don't think surgery would be a good option. If there are fine creases or wrinkles around your eyes (crow's feet), between your eyes ("the 11's) or in your forehead botox is a great option to improve those issues.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  Though an in-person evaluation would be needed to offer the best advice, your eyes are very youthful appearing.  I would see a series of ASPS board certified plastic surgeons in consultation to discuss your concerns to see if some enhancement can be done.  Hope this helps.

The surgical solution to eyelid laxity is a blepharoplasty.
There are non surgical injectable solutions such as correctly placed Botox, Dermal Filler at the brow, and PDO threads for a very noticable correction.

Thanks for sharing your question and photos. You have beautiful eyes and I would recommend that you just stick to good skincare including an antioxidant, sunscreen, and retinol. I don't think you need surgery or injectables for the eyes yet.

The reason you can't apply eyeshadow to the upper eyelid is because your eyes are still young looking. The upper eyelid becomes hollowed as women age and only at that point in time do they usually start applying Shadow. You should do absolutely nothing and enjoy your youth. You have beautiful eyes. But the lift of the brow would give you more of what you want.
A bit of Botox would give a lift to each brow for 2-6months.
A brow lift would raise the whole brow for years- decades.
