Computer Imaging before chin implant surgery is more reliable than before a filler, since we know the exact dimensions of a chin implant that would be inserted. We do these typically in the office as a 30 minute awake, outpatient, procedure. Chin simulations can indeed be done at the same time.

In our practice, we do do before and after simulations for placement of a chin implant at the time of the consultation. More important is to look at your prospective surgeon's before and after chin implant photo gallery to make sure it's extensive with lots of natural looking results. The procedure can be performed under a local anesthesia, as an outpatient procedure, which takes about 30 minutes.
