Compression garment a bit too big - will it still help?

You should see your plastic surgeon because if it is too big you'll most likely need a new garment or you'll need to wrap certain areas with an ACE bandage.

The reason for these garments is to give support to healing tissues.  With a tummy tuck the garment supports the skin and fat flap against the underlying muscle layer. With liposuction, the space created by the removal of fat is obliterated by the garment which also supports the skin against the body.So a loose garment would be ineffective. You should get the next size down from your plastic surgeon.All my best.
