Halo Laser + BBL facial treatment after rhinoplasty?

Question

I am three weeks post-op from undergoing an open rhinoplasty (tip work to fix a "boxy tip" and to "thin" out my dorsum/nasal cavity area because a broken nose from a childhood basketball injury). I also had some septoplasty work to even out my septum also caused by this same injury. My question is how soon can I schedule a Halo Laser + BBL facial treatment after rhinoplasty without affecting the healing process or prolonging swelling? 3 months post-op? 6 months? A full year? Thank you in advance!

I would recommend 3 months minimum before performing an energy based treatment like BBL or HALO over recently operated skin such as the nasal tip.  I would consider doing the rest of the face sooner than that, and maybe go over the nose very lightly.  This is just my opinion based on my personal experience.  Your surgeon would be able to give you a more valid opinion.

I always recommend that you refer to your surgeon first for approval.  In my office, I like to tell our patients to wait 2-3 months post surgery for BBL/Halo due to post procedure swelling.  Hope this helps.

I’m curious as to the downside of the Halo treatment combined with BBL?
