No, at this point you have your final results with Restylane and should have not problems getting your dental work. Best, Dr. Emer
Great question! Seeing as that your fillers were done 4 months ago, having a dental appointment where the dentist will be pulling on your face should not have any negative impact on your result. If you have concerns about the specific type of dental procedure that you are scheduled for, I recommend calling the physician who performed your injections so that they can address your questions in more detail.
Hi galinahogan,Thank you for your question. Having dental work at this point should not be a problem. Typically, fillers such as Restylane are only "moldable" initially. At four months, your filler is "set," so should not move or be affected by your dentist.
Getting dental work four months after Restylane injections is perfectly fine. It will not displace your filler. Generally, I recommend my patients wait at least a few days before any procedures that might affect settling of their filler.
You should be okay since restylane has had time to settle. However, you should not have dental work immediately after a dermal filler as that can displace the filler. Consult your injector as he or she knows the scope of the treatment and the specifics about you.
That is a great question. Once the restylane has been in for first day I don't think that the sgape can be changed with manipulation. However, I do not like patients to have invasive dental work right after filler injections because it is possible that this can increase the risk of infection of biofilm or infection formation
There is no problem with the dental procedures as you had the injections 4 months ago and it has completely incorporated
Yes, all good. The catch is if you have subclinical sinus infection or a tooth abscess that is there but not causing you symptoms. If you want to be super careful, see your dentist to exclude the above. Cheers, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
Thanks for this question. I'm not sure if your recent illness and the Restylane injection 9 months ago are related. There is always a chance that the filler could have been affected by your illness if you got sick enough to have bacteria floating through your blood vessels. The best way to find ...
Thank you for your question. It is not unusual for some patients to feel the filler after injection. However, it is not common to have blurred vision after injection. I recommend contacting your treating physician for an evaluation. Injections in the tear trough area should only be done by...
Hi @thyme. Hyaluronic acid facial filler products that were previously injected into an improper tissue plane can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections. Best of luck, Dr. Nima.
