I want to use either moderate classic 340-360cc or moderate plus 350-375cc. I find that moderate classic looks fuller, but moderate plus seems to be all the rage! I realize that without chest wall measurements it's hard to determine if moderate classic would fit me, and that I should figure out sizing during my consult, but I'm genuinely curious what recommendations or preferences doctors would have for me ahead of time! Thanks in advance
Answer: I'm a B cup, 5'6" and 115 lbs. I want to be a small D cup. What implant would you recommend? Hi there, thank you for your question. Yes, it's hard to determine the size of implants without taking measurements but, it seems that you can have both moderate classic 340-360cc or moderate plus 350-375cc. If you want to go for a bigger and fuller look, you can choose 350-375cc.

Answer: I'm a B cup, 5'6" and 115 lbs. I want to be a small D cup. What implant would you recommend? (Photo) None of the modalities to approximate final results from breast implants are 100% accurate; they merely facilitate the patient and the board certified PS concurring on the size and type of breast implant which will come the closest to reaching the patient's goal. My patients prefer to try on implant sizers under garments they typically wear (workout tops, bikini, tight sweater, low cut dress) to determine if they fit as expected and help allay some of their trepidation associated with this decision. I would recommend that you go with the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. A very general estimate is that one cup size is 150 to 200 cc of volume, but realize that no direct correlation exists between the two. It's unlikely that you will notice a difference in increments less than 100.

Answer: Choosing the right size and profile beast implants for you. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. You should also be aware that results of surgery can change in the future with significant weight change and/or stretching of skin from the milk of pregnancy. Answer: Profile Choice Good evening! Honestly I find the Classics to be a little flat in sizes over 300cc- which is why most surgeons and patients prefer the Mod Plus in the 300-450cc range!

Answer: Excellent questions. Thank you for your question and photos. While you have clearly done your research, I would advise you to not spend too much time trying to select your implant, and instead leave that up to your plastic surgeon. What is important for you to devote your time and energy toward is sharing with your plastic surgeon photos of women's breasts which you find to be beautiful and your "favorites" or goal. For any given volume (e.g. 350 cc) the widest implant will be a moderate classic,, and the narrowest would be ultra high profile. In other words, the wider the implant, the less projection, or the narrower the base of the implant, the more projection. If the proper diameter implant is selected for you, you can achieve a very natural and pretty outcome potentially with any implant as long as the proper biodimensional analysis has been performed by your plastic surgeon, but as a rule the more natural and less "augmented" result will be achieved with a moderate classic or moderate plus, more so that high profile or ultra high profile which will emphasize upper pole fullness or convexity. The other advice I can share with you is to consider the following. If your result was something other than perfect, which would you rather be, slightly bigger than you expected, or not quite as bis as expected. The latter, can be addressed with a padded bra even after your augmentation, but if you were over augmented, that will be forever, unless you have revision surgery. In my practice, I try to emphasize a natural appearance for my patients, rather than a tropical augmented appearance. But that may not be true for other practices or other plastic surgeons. My own practice reflects the fact that my patents tend to seek out a natural look. Do your research, and make sure that your own aesthetic sensibility seems to align with that of your plastic surgeon, based on his or her Before and After gallery. Best of luck to you.
