Drains v.s. no drains after aggressive full body lipo w/BBL fat?

congratulations on your upcoming liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lift procedure.
In general, drains are not necessary following liposuction or a BBL. However, every
surgeon has a different set of recovery protocols, based on their preferences,
as well as the individual patient’s medical history and the surgical technique being
used. I recommend choosing a reputable, board certified plastic surgeon and
carefully following their recovery plan.

This will ultimately be due to the doctor's preference we use drains for more agressive approaches. If you're concerned, I recommend speaking to your Doctor about his procedures. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question. Every plastic surgeon is different. Some use drains some do not. It isn't that common to use drains for BBL. Drains are more appropriate for Tummy Tuck patients. However, you could be drained on follow up visits if the surgeon feels there is too much fluid. Best of luck!Dhaval M. Some surgeons use drains and some do not. I usually do not drain my BBL patients.  Best to go with what your doc prefers.
