I had a rhinoplasty over 1.5 year ago. My surgeon never instructed me to tape my nose or to massage and I can still see the impressions on my nose when I touch it. My nose tip also seems lower. Would taping or massage help? Should of my surgeon suggested those options?

I would suggest to begin the discussion with a maxillofacial surgeon and evaluate the skeletal relationship of the upper jaw, forehead and mandible.

You can decrease the short appearance of the nose by undergoing rhinolasty to lengthen it as well as thin and define it better. It is not easy to lengthen a nose so be sure that you are seeing a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.
