Brazilian butt lift is 250cc enough? 5’7 and 133lbs looking for noticeable size but not huge. (Photos)

Hello and thank your for the question and photo. No, it is probably not enough. You are actually a very good candidate for a BBL and you certainly have more then 250cc of fat for harvest. But you need to understand that the amount of fat available for harvest is still not a lot. Sometimes with smaller patients, it is more about the shape rather then the size. This is not necessarily your case, but it would be easier to determine this with an in-person evaluation or even a video. If I had to guess, I feel we do have enough fat for a considerable increase in size and a better shape as well. Not as big as your second wish pic but similar or better then the other wish pics.

Your question is a common and important question I am asked in my clinic. The best answer is that the results are not all about the volumes of fat we place. The liposuction performed on the lower back is a large contributor to creating a more perfect waistline as well as a better contoured silhouette as it curves onto the buttock and hip. The lateral placement of fat to frame the buttock and enhance the curve as the gluteus muscles blend into the hip and upper leg is the most important in my opinion. The way the fat is sculpted both in removal and in its transfer is the more critical comment than volume alone. Unquestionably as more fat is added greater buttock projection can be attained (within reason). In my opinion the shape and form created as the fat is transferred is just as important as the amount of volume placed. Bigger by itself isn't better. Larger with a focus on ideal shape is ultimate goal. 
Where and how is just as important as how much. 
That being said, in your particular case you are a lean client with a good starting shape and muscle base. You will not need as much volume as other clients to achieve your ideal results. 350 cc is definitely on the smaller end of volume that I would normally deem necessary. An honest and frank discussion about your expectations with a board certified plastic surgeon is a key step in insuring that your aesthetic goals are met.

Although, you do not have a significant amount of fat to transfer, you would still benefit from the procedure by adding an improved shape. However, the size of your butt would only increase slightly. When planning a Brazilian butt lift, patients can look forward to a double benefit: reducing areas of unwanted fat while gaining a perkier, rounded posterior.  Each procedure must be planned according to the individual needs of patients, harvesting fat from target areas of the torso, thighs or knees and transferring it to create smooth, attractive contours optimized for each person. The amount of fat transferred depends on the quantity available and the extent of buttock augmentation each patient desires.  Sufficient body fat for a buttock augmentation is very patient-specific, depending on an individual’s body shape and proportions as well as their expectations.

Thank you for posting pictures with your question. You seem to have a very small body frame and small volume transferred will improve your buttocks. Your lower back area around the love handles is the place to address with more emphasis. You will obtain a very nice change. Best wishes.

Dear PNicole23,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. The amount of required fat will depend on your current size, shape and your goals.

Your photos would indicate you are a great candidate for a BBL but an exam by a well qualified board certified plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss outcome expectations.As long as your weight is stable, which I would define as plus or minus five pounds from your current weight over the past few years, you would be a reasonable candidate for a Brazilian Butt lift.
