I had a mole removed from my back on the spine about a year ago. The area hurts. I can't stand to have any material touch that area. Now the pain is spreading down my back on the spine area.

If this mole is right in the middle of the brow it needs to be excised and surgically repaired so the hair is connected. If lasered shaved or removed without brining the skin together there likely will be no hair later and you would need a transpalnt. Best, Dr. Emer.
The only recommendation I give patients after mole removal is to make sure to wash with soap and water followed by application of petroleum jelly (i.e. Vaseline). This is usually enough for proper wound healing and there really is no need for a topical antibiotic as likelihood of infection...
In my experience it can take up to 2-3 weeks to completely heal after a mole removal. Pain should not last but a few days and it should never be very painful. You can try applying heat to the area which increases lymphatic and blood flow to the area promoting healing. If there is oozing or...
