It is somewhat common for people to accidentally scratch or cut a mole. You should not have any problems. But I always recommend having your moles evaluated by a board-certified dermatologist on a regular basis. If you have never seen a derm, now might be a good time to meet one and get a full body skin exam.

You can exercise after stitches are removed if there were deep sutures placed. I suggest skin glue and steri-strips after the stitches come out to help keep it together. Slow movements and not major extension so you limit any pulling and stretching of the stitch line. Best, Dr. Emer.

The nevus has been incompletely removed and will almost certainly regrow to some extent after healing. I recommend that any nevus that is suspicious enough to be biopsied be removed completely and sent for pathology, if it is feasible to do so without a reconstructive procedure.
