It depends more on the lighting I'm in I think. Is this normal and still needs to heal or Tyndall effect or blood vessel blocked on both sides ? I'm 3 hrs away from my injector so if I'm over reacting I don't want to drive there. The last two are from today. Sometimes the skin is raised and puffy just where it's blanched and other times I can't feel the product it's just white. .3 cc on right side and .3 1/2 cc on left. Please help!! Thank you !!

Answer: Dermal fillers Dear Sweetie_1986, Thank you for your clinical post and additional photographs that help identify the problem you mentioned in your previous post. I appreciate that you’re quite a long ways from your injectable soft tissue filler professional and from the photographs it appears that you have a small amount of swelling after the injection the swelling will reflect more light may appear lighter than the surrounding skin. Six days after soft tissue filler there will be some swelling and edema and you should allow this to settle for 2-3 weeks. If after 2-3 weeks there’s still some light reflects abnormalities and visual evidence of the injection then making the drive to seek the advice of your injector would be important. If there is a bright light reflects from too much filler in the tear trough then slight modification with Hyaluronidase and enzyme to reduce it may be the treatment. Being seen in person, of course, is most important, however, at this early junction I would wait until the soft tissue swelling and edema settle so you can identify the real impact of the Volbella. Remember that these Juvederm products tend to be more hydrophilic and over two or three weeks additional water will be absorbed into the molecule and there may be some additional swelling and change in the typography of the region. Patients with topical silicone gel strips and camouflage makeup until two or three weeks following the injection where upon you’ll be able to more accurately assess the aesthetic results are likely your best bet. You could also do a Skype or FaceTime consultation with your injector and use this digital technology on your cell phone to communicate your concerns. I’m sure you’ll end up with an excellent result and best of luck. For more information, please review the link below. R. Stephen Mulholland, M.D. Certified Plastic Surgeon Yorkville, Toronto
