I had an accident 7 years back in which i sustained injuries around my right eye....i have a scar below my right eyebrow and it is also permanently raised since the accident....i also feel some kind of tightness in my right forehead skin, can this be corrected so that my eyebrow symmetry comes back and the scar is minimised....i am attaching a photo of mine......thank you
Answer: Lowering eyebrow and revising scar You present with a complex deformity that will require scar revision and lowering of right brow. This may require either endoscopic or open approach with incisions placed in hair bearing scalp. Detailed clinical evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Brow asymmetry after trauma It is possible to improve the asymmetry that resulted from your accident. This could require scar revision, release of scar tissue, and repositioning of the brow. I would avoid lifting your left eyebrow as it is at a normal height. A full evaluation would require an in-person consultation that would allow your surgeon to feel the brow and determine if there is tethering due to scar tissue and if the muscles of the forehead and around the eyes are functioning well.

Answer: Can this post-traumatic brow asymmetry be corrected? = Yes : Botox or Plastic Surgery #fb #browlift #botox Traumatic eyebrows asymmetries can be treated with Botox or surgically.Botox could lower the raised eyebrow or lower the high eyebrow in order to achieve symmetry. This treatment is temporary ( 3 to 4 months) and requires recurrent treatments to maintain the resultsUnilateral Endoscopic Brow Lift, is a plastic surgery procedure that could permanently elevate the lower eyebrow to achieve symmetry. This result is usually permanent.Patients interested in achieving eyebrow symmetry with either Botox or brow browlift should make a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon John Mesa MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon New York City (#NYC) & New Jersey (#NJ)

Answer: Is the brow higher? Or is the lid lower? It is difficult to say whether the scarring is actually related to the brow height itself. You actually may have traumatized the lid muscles during the injury, causing a ptosis (or drooping) or the upper lid, and the brow may be higher as it is trying to compensate for the lid droop. In this case, the treatment might involve surgically addressing the lid ptosis (ie, fixing the lid might allow the brow height to normalize) and the scar revision would be a completely separate issue. This of course is all speculative and a thorough in-person exam would be necessary to determine the underlying issues and the best course of treatment, surgical or not. I would advise you see an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for a formal evaluation and to discuss your situation. Best of luck.

Answer: Brow It would seem that excising some of the scar tissue below the brow, the brow should come down. You would have to be evaluated in person.
