It is wise when considering any type of body contouring procedure to weight until all of your family planning is complete. The weight changes with pregnancy will affect your results.Earl Stephenson, Jr, MD, DDS, FACS
If you want to have the surgery now before children, I have a great number of patients who are young and just want to look better.Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.It is a very personal decision, but keep in mind that a pregnancy could affect your BBL results.I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Any sort of procedure that changes your body (like a BBL) should be postponed until after you have had children. Your body changes during pregnancy and the results of the procedure could change as a result.
Thank you for the question.I do believe it's better to be done with all your pregnancies before having a BBL, this way you will give your body a chance to recover from all the changes that happen during pregnancies. Normally after six months would be a great time.Dr. Campos
Hi, Thanks for your question. I think it is important to consider your goals and what is possible. It is certainly possible to have a brazilian butt lift before children. I have operated on young patient for this and seen them after their pregnancy and noticed remarkable durability in this procedure. I recommend a thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to examine you and discuss the procedure in detail. Then you can decide if the procedure and timing is right for you.
I have plenty of women undergoing a brazilian butt lift before having children. There is nothing wrong with that.
Hello there, and thanks for the question. If you are planning to get pregnant very soon then I would wait until after your pregnancy. Otherwise, I think it just fine to have BBL before you have children. After the fat grafting has healed well in the buttocks area, it will fluctuate in size just like the rest of your body. So if you gain or lose weight the new buttocks will follow suite. I would seek the advice of a board certified plastic surgeon, and discuss the procedure in detail. Good luck.
Thank You for your question. The simple answer: having children after BBL should not affect your results.Thousands of women undergo liposuction before becoming pregnant without problems.Once the fat that has been transferred/incorporated into your buttock it is part of you and pregnancy should not affect the result.I suggest you make a appointment with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who will provide more detailed information.
Go ahead with your BBL if that is what you want. Then during pregnancy take care and just gain the appropriate amount of weight and you will be fine. I see no problem going ahead with surgery. I suppose if you were planning to get pregnant immediately you might wait but if pregnancy is in the distant future just live your life as you desire. My Best, Dr C
