Deep acne scars - what can I do to fix this? (photos)

The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Thank you for your question and photograph. It's difficult to evaluate your skin through this type of forum, but from what I can see, it looks like you have deep atrophic scarring. Treatment modalities that injure the skin causing subsequent collagen formation is helpful, but ice pick scars are very difficult to treat and results may not be optimal. I highly recommend you consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to have your skin evaluated and to discuss appropriate treatment options. Take care and good luck.
