I have a small wound on my nose trying to scrape away sebaceous filament (which I thought was blackheads at the time) with floss. My skin on my nose was already compromised as I had an accident years before the flossing incident that tore the skin off the bridge of my nose causing PIE. The PIE has remained ever since but the wound is slightly more red than the surrounding PIE on my nose. Around my nose I have sebaceous filament but where the wound is there is no sebaceous filament.
