How will a rhinoplasty affect my pre existing vitiligo?

Patients with Vitiligo may lose much of the pigment of their skin over the course of time. I am unaware of a surgical procedure being factor in worsening of somebody's pre-existing condition of Vitiligo. For a definitive answer, please ask your dermatologist. Hi, It is better for you to consult with your facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and give you opinion based on examination. Surgery itself won't affect your condition; however stress related to surgery might play a role.

It is not likely that surgery like rhinoplasty will significantly affect progression of vitiligo. However, that is progressive desease and you will need more information about that from a dermatologyst.
