Hi, I am a female, in my late 20s. I have always had an issue with how long my chin looks. I need help in knowing if genioplasty isvthe best fit for me? What should I look for and how to fix it. Thanks for the help!

Dear Genius422340,
Thank you for your pictures. In my opinion, I think that the sliding genioplasty would work well for you. I prefer that for my patients who need a straightforward advancement to achieve balance. Shannon plants work nicely here as well but I prefer to use the patient on tissue...
Thank you for your inquiry! It is all about facial balancing. We would love to sit down with you and discuss your concerns. Schedule a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to help you reach your goals.
It appears in the profile photo that your chin is short in the vertical plane. A vertically lengthening sliding genioplasty would provide improved facial balance and make the chin appear more slender and narrow and feminine.
