I have hyperpigmentation left over from a IPL Lightsheer laser burn on my legs

three months ago i got ipl laser done on my legs and when the lady did the back of my legs she changed the setting too high and ending up burning my legs, leaving me sith left over hyperpigmentation and brown spots from the scars, i was wondering if it's possible to get them lasered in order to lighten them and what type of laser i should use? as well as how long will this take to fade. i'm so upset i can't do anything with my legs like this and i haven't told anyone this happened. been sufferin

Hello,
Even though this question is from awhile back, we thought there would be benefit in providing information in the event that you are still with these dark spots or this happens to another patient.  It would appear by the track marks that you were treated with the Lightsheer laser versus an IPL.  Regardless, the negative side effects are very disheartening. 
 We are hoping that you received help for the discoloration from the practice that performed the treatment.  There are bleaching (prescription grade) products that can help fade the marks within several weeks.  In addition, gentle laser treatments such as a QYAGV laser works well to facilitate the fading.
As awful as this reaction is, the color is generally superficial and will respond to intervention.  A good practitioner will want to help you with options as well as remedy the overall situation.

Hopefully you told the techician and the supervising physician. It's better to treat earlier than later.There are number of treatments that might help you.
