I am on Imuran and I was told by a Dr that I would need to get off of it in order to get the full affects of coolsculpting.

My first question would be for what reason are you currently on Imuran?  I would also make sure to check in with your doctor to confirm that it would be advisable to discontinue it before you do. Once you have the go ahead from your doctor, I would suggest you did not take it a few weeks before and after your CoolSculpting treatment. We do know that with many autoimmune disorders there will be results, but the results will take longer to attain. Best of luck on your fat freezing journey!

Being on immunosuppressants such as Imuran is not a contraindication to having CoolSculpting treatments, nor is it likely to reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. You can expect a 20-25% reduction in the subcutaneous fat volume in each area treated, with full results in 60-90 days. In my practice, I would not ask a patient to discontinue Imuran prior to doing CoolSculpting.
