Excellent question but the answer is somewhat difficult.  There are a lot of variables when it comes to the cost of any cosmetic surgery.  Typically when you will have a surgeons fee, anesthesia fee (sometimes), and facility fee.  These will vary highly depending on your surgeon's experience with the procedure, type of anesthesia, and where the procedure is performed.  My top recommendation would definitely be to research your plastic surgeon ahead of time and ensure they are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (go to their website to search).  This is most important for your safety - which is a high priority in our practice. All of our plastic surgeons are board certified! If cost is an issue, sometimes we will break the procedure down into smaller parts so that it can be done under local anesthesia so you avoid the anesthesia fees.  The downside of doing this is it takes longer to get your final result and you will have several smaller recovery periods compared to a slightly longer, one time recovery period.  Generally speaking, all in for one large procedure that removes the maximum amount of fat (4 liters in Florida) the cost depends on the amount of fat removed but usually is in the $5000-8000 range; lesser amounts of fat removed would be a lesser cost generally.  VASER is an excellent choice and we do it frequently here. It does add some time to the procedure thus may up your cost but the advantage is increased skin tightening and less blood loss.  Your best bet is to schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon so he/she can examine you and give you a specific quote for fees. Financing is also often an option.
