Vaser Lipo, garment and foam indents left on skin I’ve only had upper and lower abs done. I am due for flanks and back in 3 weeks. I was wearing it horizontal and started noticing lines/indents on my sides from the edge of the foam and the garment edges. When I try it horizontal the top of my abs isn’t covered? What do you suggest? I’m worried the indents will be permanent.
Answer: Vaser liposuction: compression garment hello soph_28 You should visit or contact your plastic surgeon about this concern, he would know the best way to wear them. #indentation #post-op

Answer: ILL-FITTING GARMENTS CAN LEAD TO CONTOUR IRREGULARITIES. Hello soph_28, Thanks for your questions! Every patient is unique and surgeons have different post-operative care protocols, customized for each patient. I typically recommend my patients wearing specialized compression garments 24 hours a day, during six months, to reduce swelling and help their skin contract smoothly to their new body’s contours. Since ill-fitting garments can lead to contour irregularities, I strongly advise my patients about the correct method of using them, to limit folds and creases in the garments, and regularly check if they are worn properly. Additionally, lymphatic drainage massages are required to eliminate excess lymph fluid and prevent complications such as seromas (fluid collection) and contour irregularities (indentations). Consult with your plastic surgeon about your specific concerns. Yours truly, Dr. De La Cruz.

Answer: Compression Garment Question-Ask Your Doctor & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave I recommend following up with your Doctor about your compression garment. I have my patients wear customized compression for 3-6 weeks straight then overnight for 3-6 months after their procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Best, Dr. Emer
