hello mrpeterson  Final results can be seen 2-4 months later as the swelling continues to diminish and contours become more defined.   These contours can even improve throughout the year after surgery.
We will generally have our patients use a variety of compressive garments while they heal.  More specific body sculpting or hi-definition treatments may require more specific compression to obtain the best result. #fat #post-op

I appreciate your questions! VASER liposuction results will take up to six months to show. Plastic surgeons have different post-operative protocols to achieve the best surgery results, customized for every patient. I typically recommend my patients to wear specialized compression garments during 6 months to help the skin contract smoothly to their new body’s contours. Moreover, manual lymphatic drainage massages are required to eliminate excess lymph fluid and totally alleviate swelling and discomfort. Implementing healthy eating habits and regular exercise (taking advantage of your new increased metabolism) is essential to keep stimulating weight loss and avoiding retrieving the rendered fat. Results are truly not final until about 7-9 months post vaser. However, diet, lymphatic massages and external skin tightening procedures will help you get the best results.  For vaser procedures I would not go back for another session until 7 months as the fibrous tissue is still changing and healing.

You should by now be into full exercise routine again.  Also have you maintained your weight?
What's your diet like? During the recovery phase you should be on a low carb diet as you are not exercising.
