Hello zallasromi, It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! After VASER Liposuction, I would suggest waiting a recovery period of six weeks before going skydiving. Although most of my patients return to work as short as 7-9 days after surgery, it is advisable to resume vigorous activities after six weeks to avoid potential injuries that might slow the healing process. Hope this is helpful! Dr. De La Cruz.
hello zallasromi A short period of rest of 12-24 hours is usually recommended immediately after the procedure. Activity is largely dependent upon how you, the patient feels. Like traditional liposuction, there are no large incisions or treatment of underlying tissues such as muscle that need healing. Recovery is mostly base on the level of soreness or bruising that you may experience, however, most activity is unlikely to delay healing or create problems with recovery. #post-op #activities
Thanks for your question. For sky diving, it is recommended to wait at least 2 weeks before attempting this activity. For more information, please consult a certified VASER specialist.
