Can your lymph nodes be damaged during Vaser Lipo to inner thighs?

Hi there. I am scheduled for Vaser Lipo to the top of my inner thighs in three weeks time. My surgeon believes he can remove 150ml-200ml from each thigh. The pre-operation literature included the mention of a Lymphedema risk. Is this something I should be concerned about? Is it easy to damage lymph nodes in surgery of this type? Any feedback would be hugely appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your question. Lymph nodes can be damaged during the procedure without proper technique. With proper technique and skill of the physician, the lymph nodes should not be damaged.Lymphedema is not a risk as long as skin is not overtightened during the procedure. For more information, please consult with a certified VASER specialist.
