Hi, the vampire facelift is a great treatment if you want to be preventative and not rush into fillers. But the best results are when combined with an energy based treatment such as fractional laser or Radiofrequency treatment. I do find a series of the vampire treatments are better and then a maintaence on a yearly basis. There will be a point in time when volume will have to be replaced with either fat or dermal fillers. Hope that helps.
The Vampire Facelift utilizes a combination of hyaluronic acids and platelet rich plasma to perform synergistic anti-aging functions. When strategically injected, the HA’s act to ‘lift’ collapsed areas and even out transition zones between the various areas of the face. This helps to restore a more youthful and natural shape/structure to the face. But, it’s the addition of PRP that starts the magic! PRP serves as the vehicle to deliver your own biologic growth factors into your tissue to activate stem cells. The injected tissue takes the form of blood vessels, collagen and elastin, hyaluronic acid, fatty tissue, and the matrix that holds cells together and thickens the skin. In this manner, color, fine lines, texture, moisture and overall quality and integrity are improved. The Vampire Facelift introduces a credible and regenerative biologic stimulus directly to cells of our aging skin. PRP doesn’t just sit on your skin, it becomes your skin.In Good Health, Dr. Ellen Mahony
The vampire facelift is good for facial rejuvenation and improving acne scars and long term improving facial volume, it is more effective when combined with other treatments including laser treatments, fat transfers, etc...
I find this procedure is great for rejuvenation but needs to be combined with lasers, fillers, Sculptra for collagen building or skin tightening to get the ultimate results. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Dr. Emer.
You don't mention what your goals are for the procedure, however assuming the candidate does not smoke, does not use anti-inflammatory medications prior to the procedure and has not contraindications, the procedure works well to rejuvenate tissues, by adding volume, improving shape, color and texture. This is more than what fillers can do alone. Hyaluronic acid filler and platelet rich plasma combined give a result most find satisfactory. What it does not do, however, is relax muscles of facial expression so Botox (Xeomin, Dysport) is still needed for that purpose.
The vampire facial is very effective at improving the color and texture of skin, giving it a healthy quality and appearance without significant downtime. It usually takes several treatments around a month apart, but often patients notice positive changes after even one session. However, it does not take the place of routine maintenance therapy. Skin care should be a daily habit consisting of an appropriate facial wash, moisturizer and sunscreen. The vampire facial is a great way to make you look “pop.”
A great cocktail of growth factors from your own blood platelets after being separated from the red blood cells. It does work great and improves the overall appearance of the skin by stimulating your own biological growth factors and stem cells. Elasticity, tightness, color and texture will be dramatically improved if you do 3-4 sessions 1 month apart. That in combination with Tempsureenvi skin tightening delivering some RF energy to the skin will give you fantastic results.Best of luck,Dr Daniela Atanassova Lineva
Thank you for your question! The Vampire Facelift offers many key benefits- such as uneven skin tone, wrinkles, pigmentation, stretch marks, as well as sun spots. Additionally, with age your skin can begin to lose volume, creating wrinkles and making acne scars more apparent. Microneedling is ideal for anyone who is experiencing a reduction in collagen production and are noticing negative signs of aging and skin damage. Best of luck!
