I am 35 years old, 5'6", 125lbs, and fit. However, I have a disproportionate fat pocket under my chin and a small patch of thin, loose skin (turkey neck). I hope to find a procedure that addresses both issues as discreetly as possible (hence why belkyra/kybella is not a good option). I looked into Airsculpt Lipo as it seems very discreet. However, it sounds like it may actually make the loose skin issue worse once fat is removed. Please let me know if there is a solution to these issues! Thx.
Answer: Get rid of skin laxity and reduce appearance of a double chin by doing morpheus8 Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Neck Sagging/Fat - VASERlipo, FaceTite/AccuTite, Morpheus8/Fractora, Neck Lift/Platysmaplasty; Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy "For a double chin, InMode FaceTite with VASERlipo would give you the best result. With significant neck sagging you would need a facelift / neck lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). At the same time, I would recommend lasers (Fraxel, CO2, Halo, or Erbium) and microneedling RF (Fractora, Morpheus8, PiXel8, Intensif) to improve the crepey skin and wrinkles. Overall, the neck can be treated with a combination approach: 1. Microneedling and laser treatments for texture 2. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeuveau to help platysmal bands 3. Intensif, Fractora, PiXel8, or Morpheus8 microneedling RF for crepey skin and lifting 4. Injectable fillers like Belotero, Restylane Silk, Versa, and Juvederm Volbella to improve lines and folds 5. Face/neck lifting if sagging is prominent or premature, with or without platysmaplasty (muscle tightening) 6. Renuvion (J-Plasma), ThermiRF, and InMode FaceTite/AccuTite for internal tightening 7. Ultherapy and Thermage for external tightening 8. Regular Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, or InMode Forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness 9. PDO NovaThreads or Silhouette InstaLift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen production See an expert for a formal evaluation and to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals. Answer: Liposuction can be combined with skin tightening Chin liposuction produces dramatic results in cases like yours, with minimal indications you had a procedure performed. If loose skin is also an issue, you can combine your liposuction procedure with ThermiTight, a nonsurgical skin-tightening procedure that is highly effective without leaving telltale signs of a treatment behind. ThermiTight delivers radiofrequency energy deep into the dermal layers, constricting tissue and boosting collagen production. The result is smoother, firmer skin in the weeks following treatment. These procedures should only be performed by a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience and training. With a qualified provider and customized treatment plan, you should be able to achieve a very good result.

Answer: Combination approach may be best for skin contouring Your most effective options might be a combination of chin liposuction and skin tightening with ThermiTight. Liposuction uses micro-cannulas to target the submental fat that frequently forms under the chin. The procedure can be done using local anesthetic and leaves little or no scarring behind. Recovery is just a few days. ThermiTight is a radiofrequency treatment in which a small probe is placed under the skin and heats the dermal layers to firm and smooth the skin. It delivers RF energy into the connective tissue below the skin, where it constricts tissue and boosts collagen levels while melting fat. The two treatments are best performed at the same time and would be just the right choice for your situation. Always choose an experienced, board-certified dermatologist for your treatment to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Chin liposuction and implant might be best solution for you Thank you for your question. It appears there are two concerns going on here. The first is the development of a small pocket of submental fat underneath your chin. This can be remedied with a liposuction procedure that removes the fat pocket via tiny cannulas. The second concern is a recessed chin, which is also affecting the definition of your jawline. A chin implant can be customized to your precise facial proportions. Be sure you work with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon to ensure an optimal outcome.
