Thanks for your question and for submitting your photos. There are many ways to refine the shape of the tip with Rhinoplasty. The results often depend on the stiffness of your cartillages and the thickness of your skin. Also be careful not to overdo things as a natural look is more important than a big change.

Yes, it's possible to refine the nose tip. When you meet with a facial plastic surgeon, he or she will consider your nose in balance with your other features. You can bring the photos of noses that you think would be flattering to your face and these can be discussed.  I hope this helps.

A rhinplasty involving just the tip would refine your tip cartilages by removing cartilage and placing sutures.  

There is no such thing as a minor nose job, since rhinoplasty is the most difficult procedure to perform in the entire field of cosmetic surgery. The tip of the nose can be made more refined, but it's very important to have a full set of facial/ nasal photographs, since the nose is a three-dimensional structure. Certainly modifications can be made to get the refined narrower tip you are looking for.  This would usually involve  partial resection of the tip cartilages and possibly suturing the tip cartilages .  Make sure you see a highly qualified experienced surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty and review goals with computer imaging preoperatively.

Hi Janit,Yes, it is possible for you to have your tip refined. I recommend bringing those photos with you to your consult, along with any others that you like the look of.
