Granulomas developing around scar 5 weeks post op butt implants. What can I do?

I’ve had a corrective surgery to get rid of granuloma small infection on my right butt cheek. It seems about 5 weeks post op that the scar has started forming granulomas again. Why is my body responding in this way and what can I do or have my surgeon do to avoid deformities if removal of the butt implants is neccesary

It is extremely rare for properly placed intramuscular buttock implants to flip (like a pancake). Older “tear drop oval” style implants can and do rotate frequently.  Thus, if your problem is truly a flipped implant then a new pocket is recommended and this will require surgery. If the implant ...

Don't despair. The problem is unfortunately not unusual but at 3 weeks probability of spontaneous resolution is very high. Try a muscle relaxant (lioresal) that might reduce pain killer consumption.
