Hello, in my region (Ontario) I find that only fairly severe cases of tuberous breasts will receive coverage for corrective surgery.  Milder cases are generally considered to be of a cosmetic nature.

Atypical breast shapes can sometimes be covered by MSP. You should see your GP and get a referral to a plastic surgeon in your area to discuss this.

Consider contacting the University of British Columbia, division of PlasticSurgery. They have a resident cosmetic clinic that offers cosmeticsurgery done by the Chief Resdient. It is an educational program but high quality and offers surgery at a reduced rate (about half the price). There is a long wait to get in as it is very popular.

appreciate your concern.I do not know the regulations in Canada. In the states, a tuberous breast is not a functional deformity. The only conditions that are covered are the lack of breast (amastia). Unfortunately, this is a cosmetic issue on the eyes of the insurance companies.
