Hello, I'm wondering what is the best way to fix a small lip gap between my lips when my jaw is in resting position? I do NOT want to augment the shape and size of my lips. Is there a non-invasive low-risk procedure that could be done to "fill in" the gap.
Answer: Non Surgical Lip Augmentation for Symmetry Hi annabananaaa1, Thank you for your question and your photos! You appear to be a great candidate for Lip augmentation with dermal fillers to "fill the gap" and achieve the natural symmetry you are looking for. There are a few filler options used to even out and enhance the lips. My top fillers are currently Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Vollure and Restylane Refyne. These fillers are reversible and have a smooth velvety consistency which is great for lips. Depending on the type of filler used, results can generally last 6-9 months. Selecting the right filler is important, but placement is the real key to achieving natural looking lips. I've created a video on how to achieve natural looking lips with Dermal Filler to address some frequently asked questions about the treatment. Be sure to do your homework and find an Injector with demonstrated patient results and experience with this technically challenging procedure. I hope this was helpful and good luck in your research!

Answer: How to fix asymmetric lip gap? If there has been no previous surgery or injury to the depressed area, improving the asymmetry with fat transfer would create the easiest to obtain and most natural result. A V-Y advancement procedure would also achieve some improvement.
