i have always bruised a little after getting lip fillers, but i just had them done last night and the bruising from this session was significant. this is probably the 5-7th time i’ve had it done, and the 2nd time with this RN. what’s the reason it could have bruised so much worse, and how long will this take to heal?

Thank you for your question. It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and last 1-2 weeks after lip injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next ...
Thank you for your inquiry. It is possible to have some localized swelling that feels like a lump for a couple weeks after injections. I would try to leave the area alone and if the lump doesn't resolve within another week, let your injector know. They should be able to inject a little...
If you still have leftover filler after all this time, we would highly recommend you going back to your provider and having the remaining filler dissolved.
Best of luck!
