Hello,The diastasis is not a muscle that is weak; it is a fascial band of tissue that has widened/expanded, which will not narrow with muscle stimulation or exercise. EMS machines are great for patients already in good shape but cannot tighten the loose skin and repair a diastasis.Judging by your photographs, you may need a tummy tuck. The connective tissue 'bridge' that composes the rectus diastasis does not really have any electromotor potential, so trying to strengthen or stimulate the rectus muscles will not improve this condition. A tummy tuck, on the other hand, presents an opportunity to tighten and flatten the abdominal wall.
