Hi I currently have 350CC silcone implants, I'm 5ft and 105lbs I'm thinking up upsizing to having a more full and plump look so I was wondering if I were to add 75cc will I notice a difference? Or how many CC's would you recommend me adding to get the look I'm going for? I like how my breasts look with a push up bra. I'll attach images below of my 'goal' look and my current look. And will my nipple placement be off?
Answer: Revision surgery Dear jollz,Breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Will there be a difference if I add 75CC - 100CC? (Photo) Given the amount of breast tissue you appear to have an additional 75cc is not likely to make enough of a difference to make you happy. If you decide to have your surgery revised you might want to ask your surgeon about highly cohesive "gummy bear" implants which are now available in round or smooth shapes. They can, in some cases, offer better projection and upper pole fullness without requiring an extreme increase in implant size.

Answer: Breast Implant Exchange It is my experience that it takes an increase of at least around 150cc's to make a noticeable difference for most people when they upsize their implants. Sometimes more or less depending on their body frame. With your petite body frame you would definitely need high profile implants, and perhaps even ultra high profile implants to get the look that you want and to fit your body. Just "ball-parking" from your photos, I think you could go up to around 500 cc's with a high profile implant. At 500 cc's or more, I think the ultra high profile implant may be better for you. Please be sure to consult with a real Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Boeard of Plastic Surgery who is experienced in cosmetic breast surgery.

Answer: Best breast implants for me (revisionary breast surgery)? Thank you for the question and pictures. Yes, adding the volume you mentioned will certainly make a different but will question: will it be the difference that will achieve your desired outcome. Sometimes adjustments of the surrounding breast implant capsules are also necessary to achieve the desired outcome. You will find that online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific advice in regards to selection of specific breast implant size/profile. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary (upsizing) breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "D or DD cup” or "more full and plump look" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery ( after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers). Viewing the patient's chest wall in the upright and supine positions, with temporary sizes in place, help select the best breast implant size/profile for the specific patient. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Size Increase Its difficult to accurately guess the effect of any implant size increase without an examination that lest me feel the skin and the contour of the current implant. However, generally, to notice a substantial increase form 350 cc, I would recommend at least 75-100 cc. Otherwise there is a strong chance that the difference is not enough to obtain a satisfactory result. If the skin is loose, a larger implant will be required.
